Ceremonial marriage
You are getting married in sunny Spain. Qué bueno! If you are both Dutch and living in the Netherlands, the easiest and most common option is to go for a ceremonial wedding in Spain. That means taking care of the legal side back home, and saving your heartfelt ceremony for your ‘real’ wedding day in Spain. Getting married on the Costa Blanca or Costa Cálida? Or are you dreaming of a wedding in beautiful southern Spain? I’m based in Valencia but I’m happy to travel to you.
Anniversary celebration
Are you celebrating 10, 15, 25 or even 40 years of marriage soon? And would you like to host an anniversary celebration in Valencia or surroundings? Whatever the milestone, a tailor-made speech will complete your celebration. Together, we’ll look back on the years you’ve shared: the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Vows renewal
These days, a wedding ceremony is a unique celebration. Very different from the past, when ceremonies were mostly formal affairs. Would you like to do it all over again after all these years? To choose each other once more, surrounded by family and friends? So romantic! During a heartfelt ceremonym on your anniversary or any meaningful date, you can renew your vows. It all starts with a unique story. That’s where I come in.
My approach

Video call – no strings attached. If it feels like a yes afterwards, I’ll get to work

You’ll each receive a detailed questionnaire. It helps me to get to know you both.

In-depth personal conversation (2 hours), either via video call or in person in Valencia. This is where we dive deeply into your love and life stories

What do your loved ones say about you? I speak to 2 to 4 close friends or family members. This makes your ceremony even more personal
5.
Writing a tailor-made speech

Creating your personal marriage certificate (and a children’s certificate, if desired)
7.
Coordination with speakers or musicians who are part of the ceremony, plus check-ups with the (wedding) venue

A personal (wedding) ceremony is custom work. I don’t do things halfway and I aim for a perfect ceremony. This dedicated approach is reflected in both my fee* and the final result.

If you choose a ceremony speaker who lives in Spain, in Valencia to be precise :), that first of all saves you money. After all, you are not a euros on overnight stays, airline tickets and other high travel costs. In addition, I speak Dutch and: Spanish :). That is very handy in the contact and the check-ups that I do before and on the day with the location. Another plus: I know Valencia and surroundings super good and have gathered a network of professionals around me who can help you with your dream wedding: photographers, videographers, wedding planners … Do you get married in Valencia or on the Costa Blanca? Then I would like to introduce them to you!
My speaking style can best be described as enthusiastic, lively and warm. I choose my words carefully and know how to touch at the right moments and make you laugh.
Of course! During our in-depth discussion, I’m happy to hear what you want and don’t want to include in your ceremony. Moreover, I know the difference between fun anecdotes and stories that are more suitable for later in the evening after a few beers :).
know for sure. We will discuss all your wishes and ideas in advance. Together we shape the ceremony. It is nice for me to know what your guest speakers will be talking about, so that we can present a beautiful ceremony without overlap in stories.
I ideally start 3 months prior to your ceremony. We schedule the in-depth interview 3-6 weeks in advance. This way I have enough time to prepare a good story and to get in touch with your inner circle.
Yes, that is certainly possible! I am a wedding official in Valencia and focus on weddings in the province of Valencia and on the Costa Blanca, but in principle all of Spain is my work area. So you don’t have to get married in Valencia, I would like to come to you! Keep in mind that I charge travel costs of € 0.55 per kilometer, and any travel time if the location is far from my house.
